Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Chief Business Development Officer
With 18 years of senior housing experience, Julie Murray has been a driving force in the successful expansion of Ecumen’s senior housing offerings since joining the company in 2008. Julie led the development and redevelopment of many Ecumen projects including Abiitan, Ecumen’s first urban CCRC in the Mill District of Minneapolis; The Seasons at Maplewood and The Seasons at Apple Valley. In 2014 Julie led the collaboration with Lifestyle Communities creating OneTwoOne Development Company and the Zvago Cooperative Living Brand.… Zvago currently has five communities under development focusing on walkable, amenity-rich communities for the active senior. Julie is a graduate of Texas Tech University where she received a B.S. in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management and a Masters Certificate in Organizational Leadership from St. Catherine University in St Paul, MN.
Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development at Ecumen, Stanfield leads the development of new construction projects as well as redevelopment and repositioning of Ecumen’s over 30 owned communities. Prior to joining Ecumen in 2015, Stanfield, who is both trained as an architect and has an MBA, was a Group Manager for Architecture at Target, where she directed architectural design work at Target stores. In addition to working in the retail sector, Stanfield did residential design earlier in her career and has also worked as a financial analyst… . She has a Master of Architecture from the University of California-Los Angeles, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, and Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Duke University. Anne lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Michael and son, Benjamin.
As Business Development Project Manager, Ann Kastensen manages capital projects at Ecumen’s existing communities. In this role she oversees the project implementation from concept to completion. Prior to joining Ecumen, Ann was sole proprietor of AKID Ann Kastensen Interior Design, where she was an Interior Designer for Senior Housing projects. She brings extensive experience in senior living and healthcare design having worked at Presbyterian Homes and Allina Health…. Her most recent project work includes the addition / renovation at Mr. Olivet Carview in Minneapolis and St. Andrews Village in Mahtomedi. Ann has a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design from University of Wisconsin, Stout.
