Morshed (Mo) Alam
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Morshed (Mo) Alam leads finance, business development, compliance and technology. Prior to joining Ecumen in 2019, he held key financial leadership roles in technology, healthcare and medical device manufacturing companies.  Most recently, Mo was the Director of Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis for Medtronic’s global Restorative Therapies Group, where he led all financial planning processes, including strategic planning for this business group with annual revenues of over $8 billion. Previously, he was the Director of Finance for Plymouth-based Solera Holdings, Inc., managing a team in the U.S. and the U.K. Earlier, he served in various financial leadership roles at Thomson Reuters over a period of ten years.
Mo holds a B.S. in Accounting from Winona State University and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Minnesota.
Anne Stanfield
Director of Business Development

As Director of Business Development at Ecumen, Stanfield leads the development of new construction projects as well as redevelopment and repositioning of Ecumen’s over 30 owned communities. Prior to joining Ecumen in 2015, Stanfield, who is both trained as an architect and has an MBA, was a Group Manager for Architecture at Target, where she directed architectural design work at Target stores. In addition to working in the retail sector, Stanfield did residential design earlier in her career and has also worked as a financial analyst . She has a Master of Architecture from the University of California-Los Angeles, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, and Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Duke University. Anne lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Michael and son, Benjamin.

Ann Kastensen
Ann Kastensen
Project Manager

As Business Development Project Manager, Ann Kastensen manages capital projects at Ecumen’s existing communities. In this role she oversees the project implementation from concept to completion. Prior to joining Ecumen, Ann was sole proprietor of AKID Ann Kastensen Interior Design, where she was an Interior Designer for Senior Housing projects. She brings extensive experience in senior living and healthcare design having worked at Presbyterian Homes and Allina Health. Her most recent project work includes the addition / renovation at Mt. Olivet Careview in Minneapolis and St. Andrews Village in Mahtomedi. Ann has a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design from University of Wisconsin, Stout.

Clare Hahneman
Senior Business Development Manager

As Senior Business Development Manager, Clare Hahneman supports the development of new construction projects as well as the redevelopment and repositioning of existing Ecumen businesses and communities. Early in her career, Clare worked in law firms supporting multifamily and senior housing Lenders. More recently, she held roles as the Senior Real Estate Project Manager at Life Time, Inc. and was the Director of Development at The Waters Senior Living. Clare is a Certified Scrum Master, a Certified Project Management Professional, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Davidson College in Davidson. NC.
